Visit Notes

Sunday, 6th July 2008

I noticed this rath from the main road to the west as I driving along and so took a quick diversion of take a look. It looked a good example from a distance. I didn't go into the field, but looked at the remains through a gap in the hedge near to Fortfield House.

The GPS reading is for the gap in the hedge, not the centre of the rath, which is about 40m in diameter with banks a little over 1m tall.
