There is very little of this early church left, but there is enough left to understand its original size. The walls remain to about three courses. On the south side it can be seen that the lowest course projects out from the ones above.
The area described by the walls is 13.5m x 5m. The trees that are growing both near and on the wall are slowly destroying what remains.
The location of the site itself is quite interesting - the church stands at the southern end of a low rise, with the raised area to the north being the old graveyard. This area is covered by trees, hidden amongst which there is a bullaun stone and two plain crosses.
